Kiker Elementary School has joined with A+ Federal Credit Union (A+FCU) to bring students an opportunity to open a savings account and make deposits from school. Through the Green Apple Savings Program, designed for children 12 and under, we hope to pass along the important principles of saving, money management, and investing money for a return. We will have “Deposit Days” once a month in the Kiker cafeteria before assembly.

How the program works

Upon opening a Green Apple Savings Account with A+ Federal Credit Union, your child can make deposits to his/her savings account at school during Green Apple Deposit Days.  Green Apple Deposit days are once a month, and deposits can be made in the morning between 7:10am and 7:40am in the Kiker cafeteria. (Parents need not be present for their children to deposit money.)

How to participate

If you are interested, complete the interest form here. You will then receive an information packet about the program and an application form to join. If you choose to return the completed application and copies of the necessary items, A+FCU will provide the initial $10 opening deposit FREE! If you are currently a Green Apple Member, you do not need to fill out this interest form and we look forward to seeing you at our 1^st Deposit Day – Wednesday, October 12!
