FALL FESTIVAL

A day of community gathering sponsored by an assortment of dedicated volunteers. The Kiker community was filled with live music, games, food concessions and special appearances from our Fire and Police departments. PTA sponsored games included: a dessert / book walk, gourd bowling, lawn darts and more. (Held every other year)

SPELLING BEE - PTA GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING THEME NIGHT

A fun 'Spelling Bee' event, held in conjunction with a General Membership Meeting.

READ-A-RAMA

This evening brings to life an assortment of favorite books through the voices of our teachers. Envision blankets, pillows, pajamas, arts, crafts, a book fair, moms, dads and kids surrounding a stage decorated with a rocking chair a bedside light and pieces of moments from beloved books.

SCIENCE NIGHT

This evening was a chance to enlighten families about science and for eager scientists to learn more about different scientific subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science and Astronomy). The children rotated through the five science disciplines through fun experiments and family interaction.

BOOK SWAP - PTA GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING THEME NIGHT

PTA will host a book swap event for families to bring in books and trade them for books they haven’t read. Held in conjunction with a General Membership Meeting.

BIKE FEST

A fun event organized by local cycling enthusiasts, businesses, parents and PTA. Bike safety, care and riding groups are featured. Exciting events include: group bike ride on the veloway, bike safety education, an obstacle course and much more. (Held every other year)

INTERNATIONAL NIGHT

An evening of celebrating the diversity of our Kiker families. Includes cultural entertainment on stage, a worldwide-potluck-supper buffet, and individual country booths to explore. Countries showcased included: Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Egypt, El Salvador, Haiti, India, Korea, Lebanon, Mexico, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Scotland, Syria, Taiwan, Venequela, and Vietnam. (Held every other year)
